On Monday August 11th our JP students had the pleasure of a visit from Amanda Graham as part of our Book Week celebrations.
The students were totally engrossed with Amanda’s talk and demonstrations.
They learnt about alliteration, planning, editing, drafts, illustrating and last but not least how much Amanda enjoys her work…the best job in the world!
A few lucky students helped to add the finishing touches to some of Amanda’s sketches. A few budding illustrators in our midst by the looks of the finished illustrations.
Both students and teachers alike thoroughly enjoyed the session and were still talking about it as they left the room.
