Book Signings at Shakespeare’s and Mindfield

On Sat Nov 29th I did some book signings of Tea and Sugar Christmas at Mindfield Books at Blackwood and at Shakespeare’s at Port Noarlunga. Both shops are owned and run by Mike and Beccy Lucas and the Mindfiled shop will be having a name change soon…a second Shakespeare’s.

It was fascinating to hear everyone’s connections with the tea and sugar train. There were teachers from Cook, people whose grandparents and great-grandparents had either lived or worked out on the line and others who themselves had lived along the line.

South Australians in particular have a close connection with the train because its journey began in South Australia at Port Augusta.

In front of the beautiful Christmas window at Mindfield Books at Blackwood...soon to be Shakespeare's. There was a gorgeous Christmas train on display.

  1. Pity you can’t get into some of the big suburban shopping centres for a signing. A book like this with a Xmas theme would be a great kid’s present! Cheers Gra.
