After a very long flight, with no sleep for me, as I can’t fall asleep on a plane, we arrived very early to a 13 degree day in Rome. Made our way via a coffee shop for Italian breakfast ( cappuccino and a canolini) and then settled in to our BNB before heading off to discover Rome.

Everywhere you walk and every corner you walk around there are ruins. And cafes. And gelati shops. I found 25 Euros on the ground on Day 1 so had to spend it on some gelati…coconut single scoop in a waffle cone for 2.50 Euros. Creamy and delicious. They really do make it better here.
Pizza for tea. Yummo! Margharita on a thin base…exquisite.
