A New Direction

Exciting times ahead for me!

As of January 2014 I will only be teaching two days a week in the Library. The other three days I intend to get stuck into my writing and also do school visits, giving author talks and maybe running writing workshops.

I am now listed with Carole Carroll, a Literary Booking Agent, and can be booked through bookings@literaryaustralia.com

On Friday April 4 2014 the Lend A Leg event will be held in Adelaide by the Safe Ground group and at this some of Sally Heinrich’s illustrations for “One Step At A Time” will be on display. I have had a sneak peek at some of her lino prints and they are truly magnificent.

In May 2014 I am attending the CBCA Conference in Canberra and will be speaking with Robert Ingpen about “Tea and Sugar Christmas”.

Below are some photos of some glass beading bouquets which were made by Goolwa Primary School students after reading “Glass Tears”.  It shows that the impact that a story has, can continue for years and years after the book is published.
