In October I am attending the Open Spaces Retreat, for Picture Book creators, for 4 days in Sydney at the Hughenden Boutique Hotel.
I am getting excited about it as it is always good to meet up with other creative people and share ideas and thoughts.
One of the activities will be a session with Bruce Whatley doing some non-dominant hand drawing, which seems to be what he is right in to at the moment. His two latest books that I have seen, “Flood” by Jackie French and “The Little Refugee” by Ahn Do have both been illustrated using his left hand.
I will need to take some work to share so am looking through all of my stories to see what might be good to get others’ opinions on.
