Juvenilia Was Fun

On June 22 I was involved in the Juvenilia Exhibition held at the Unley Library.

This involved an exhibition, curated by Aimee Chan, of the work of some of Australia’s children’s authors and illustrators. I was lucky enough to have been chosen to be part of the exhibition.

I have a Poetry book which I have kept since High School, which had about ten of my poems in it, written from 1971-1973. They were the neat copies written in backhand, which I was experimenting with at the time.

Six of these poems had been framed and were on display at the Exhibition.

Running alongside was an event where other SA authors had some of their Juvenilia and books on display in the Unley Town Hall. It was a fabulous event which was supported by CBCASA.
