On Tuesday August 8th I visited Ardtornish Primary School. Quite a drive from Strathalbyn, especially through morning peak traffic, but it was well worth it.
Librarian Jane Moore has got a beautiful space to work in and is gearing up for Book Week with an Escape to the Garden theme.
I was greeted by two Year 7 ambassadors, Hayley and Kyle, who did a wonderful job of escorting me all day and ensuring all my needs were met.
The day before the school had had a visit from author Janeen Brian, and after me they were welcoming Mandy Foot and Andrew Joyner!
Once again all of the students were attentive and interested and asked some inquisitive questions.
