I recently saw the Lynley Dodd Retrospective at the State Library and although we weren’t allowed to take photos I picked up a bit of merchandise.
The exhibition was outstanding and alerted me to some more books by Lynley. She sure is a treasure! Even though she is from N.Z.!
Whenever my daughter and I see a dog which looks vaguely like any of the characters from Hairy Maclary we can recite the descriptions word perfect.
