On Wednesday Michael Coggan, from the ABC, came to Strathalbyn to interview and film me reading some Robert Ingpen illustrated books to some students. He then interviewed the students about their thoughts on Robert’s illustrations and then interviewed me about working with Robert and my thoughts on his illustrations.
The students gave some fascinating answers to Michael’s questions.
It was an interesting morning as I ended up reading Radio Rescue! three times ,as we were competing with some persistent coughs from the audience and the groundsman mowing the school oval!
Cameraman Trent Hughes did a great job and I am sure he will be able to edit a meaningful clip.
It is possibly going to air on October 29th. It will be melded with an interview another ABC reporter did with Robert at his home.
The morning was a wonderful experience for everyone involved and we can’t wait to see the finished programme.
