It’s Launched! “The Man with Small Hair” is out in the world.

On Sunday 23rd September Andrew Joyner and I launched The Man with Small Hair at the EFS Strathalbyn R-6 Resource Centre.

Had a fabulous turn out of about 100 people and Shakespeare’s Bookshop aka Mike and Becky Lucas sold over 100 books.

The MC’s for the day were William Joyner and Mia Woods and they both did a fabulous job.

Vikki McInnes officially launched the book with an insightful speech very much appreciated by Andrew and me.

There were Man With Small Hair gingerbreads to be had and also an official cake cutting ceremony. Just like a birthday. Well I guess it is the birth-day of the book.

Now we just hope that the book gets out there and continues to sell well and that lots of children and adults enjoy the story and Andrew’s entertaining illustrations.

Thanks again to everyone who rocked up…and to those who rocked on at Smith Tapas Bar in High St Strathalbyn.

                                                     Vikki, Mia and Will

                                               The happy creators!

                                                  A reading

                                                          The cake

Oh my gosh! What has happened??

Can you spot the sad man with small hair?

Some of the inspiration for Andrew…I can see Cousin It!

Some clickety-clackety beads. Who remembers these?
