Sally Heinrich celebrated the launch of her colouring book Local Colour Adelaide today at Shakespeare’s Book Shop at Blackwood.
The book was launched very ably by Mike Lucas, local poet and owner of Shakespeare’s Book Shop (together with his wife Beccy). Mike apparently was second choice launchee for Sally, and he very playfully made fun of this, including the use of a Greg Mackie mask!
Mike had done a bit of homework and googled “odd colouring books” to find a list of very strange titles, which brought a few laughs. Titles such as Colour Me Drunk and Colouring Book for Lawyers.
A selection of event photos below.
Congratulations Sally, a beautiful result for a lot of hard work. Makes a great Adelaide souvenir.
