Had the first of this year’s school visits, in the lead up to Book Week, today. It was with the Year 1/2 classes at the beautiful Hawthorndene Primary School. The school is set in a gorgeous environment and this morning the trees were filled with singing birds…it was glorious. What a place to work at!
All of the four classes heard both Sally Heinrich and me, talk about our work, in separate sessions.
The students showed great interest and asked some thought provoking questions…including a few to which I did not know the answers.
Thanks to librarian Krystal Lawrie for organising the day.
A few photos below of my visit.
