I am heading off soon to Bologna, to the annual Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Can’t wait. It is the most amazing and inspiring collection of children’s books, authors and illustrators under one roof I have ever experienced.
Will be sitting at the Australia Stand for a couple of shifts and then exploring the rest of the fair and the beautiful city of Bologna. May have to have a couple of gelatos along the way…and maybe a pizza or two…and of course a delicious Italian morning coffee accompanied by an equally delicious chocolate croissant. Someone’s gotta do it.
Have left some space in my suitcase to buy some books and may even have to post some home this year. It is such a temptation.
